Bio/Resume

Adam Matano was born and raised in Exeter, Rhode Island and has always had a passion for art and nature. Growing up, he spent all of his time hiking and playing the drums; it wasn’t until later that Adam found an artistic medium to express his love of art and nature. He discovered the expression of sculpture.

Adam studied sculpture at Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Connecticut, where he received his BFA in sculpture. After graduation he was invited to show his work at Sculpture in the Park 2010, a three-day, group exhibition of 200 sculptors from around the world. This gave him a chance to drive cross-country and explore some new places such as New Mexico and California.

Now Adam lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
